new gti! motoman break in, or dealership break in?

- carbon steel
- 4 door
- sunroof
- automatic, DSG

My dealership told me i shouldn't drive over 120km, and i should not accelerate hard.

my friend told me to use the motoman engine break in. where i accelerate hard and don have a constant rpm

i live in the city, have to brake a lot, which should i choose!!?!?
- which method did you guys choose to break it in

Hammer it. You could not harm it unless you keep it on a constant rev. So get out there and accelerate and brake etc keeping it through the entire range of rpms.

Don't listen to the salesman; as usual, they don't know anything.
