For an OEM oil filter from ECS and Mobil 1 OW-40 from Walmart, I'm paying $35-40 total each oil change which to me is extremely reasonable for an OEM filter and a proven oil every 5k. You can always pay more for another oil if you want, but it will still be cheaper than the dealer to do it yourself.
Get an oil extractor like I have and its clean, fast and easy no matter where you live.
