No huge difference in sound IMHO. From what I've read, the mechanical sound pipe has been replaced by "an electronic" system whatever that means. The Ferrari on that site was sick!

I drive a VI GTI since monday, and my car already sounds better then the Golf V GTI wich i drove...

My car has 300km on the clock, and the V got 72000km...

Sound is great, it's a huge difference from the V...
