I have the Borla catback mated to an APR cast downpipe. It sounds great. I cannot speak for the custom set as I haven't heard it.

Borla has been great for the three years i've owned it. Highly recommend. Sounds great.

I'm going to third ^this. Borla sounds awesome, and you'll probably be glad to have a resonated exhaust in the end
