Like the title says, I got a great deal on some Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's in 245-40-17 size and I plan on running them on some 17x7.5 wheels that I currently have. I've read several comments and some say its ok to do, others say that its too wide of a tire to put on the 7.5. I have Drivers Gear springs on the car and the fenders are already rolled, screw mod done.
Ideally I'd like someone to post up a pic of their car with this wheel tire combo so I can get an idea of what the look will be. In a prefect world I'd be running some RPF1's 17x9 et45 but that's not gonna happen just yet. Pics of the car with the wheels in question:
