TSI HPFP Problems

Hey everyone,
interesting day for me today. this morning i started my car and it took longer than usual to start. as i was driving to school i tried changing lanes.(tons of traffic in the morning) and tried to accelerate a little harder than normal lol. when i accelerated my car didnt push itself. i reach 4k rpm and speed did not climb anymore. if i try going WOT the car barely accelerates. i reach 50km/h in like 10 seconds and then climbs very slowly. i need to push on the throttle very gently to reach the speed i want.(100km for highway).

I brought the car to my local vw/audi specialist and he told me i'm loosing fuel pressure through vag-com. he tried changing the fuel filter to see if it would help but no luck. still reads the same code. he checked the fuel pressure and its reading 6.5 BAR instead of the usual 40 BAR at idle. so this time we tried changing the fuel pressure sensor on the fuel rail and still giving the same issues. He then told me its the hpfp.(he checked some sensor on the fuel pump by removing it and putting it back in and said it was sapposed to do something but i forgot what he had told me)

so i left the car there tonight and hes gonna remove the fuel pump and see whats up tomorrow morning. is this very rare to happen on the TSI motors? i thought this would usually be happening on fsi motors(cam follower) it seems to me that the car is on limp mode but i think its a total loss of fuel pressure. any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

recently i have had long start ups, and a little rough too.. i might have to bring mine into the dealership to see whats up.. although i have NOT thrown a code at all.....yet.

could be your starter. mine has had issues aswell. during hot days and operating temperature start ups, my car has a weird grinding noises when attempting to start. at first i thought the teeth on my flywheel was screwed up, turns out on of the bushings are done.

Tsi have 1 sensor on the high pressure fuel rail if that sensor is reading a max of 6.5 bar (low pressure in tank pump output) then your high pressure pump is not doing anything at all
