Ready to race!
I had to jump start my car today because the battery seems to be well out of juice. When I hooked up the jump box, the radio turned on and the alarm went off.
My key was in my pocket far away from the ignition.
Could this be a sign of an issue with the radio and possibly an electric draw from my stereo? Or am I over thinking just an issue with a bad battery?
I had no symptoms of a failing battery other than this morning when I went to fire up the car it struggle quite a bit, but after that initial start this morning I've had to jump it each time.
I tested the alternator and it was working as it should, but after driving 40min home this evening, I tried to restart my car immediately and I got nothing.
Maybe the battery took a complete dump on me and won't hold a charge?
Any input is appreciated.
