Hey fellas, just picked up a 2012 GTI and love the hell out of it. I do however have a switch that does not seem to be connected but was hoping one of you might know. It does not appear to be hooked up and is not causing any issues other than curiosity and the thought that I may want to hook whatever was there back up. Here are pics and thanks for any information.





Car was purchased in San Diego at Southbay VW. If it is recognized, please let me know as I would like to speak to the owner. It is in really great shape and am grateful for that.

The button thing is an aftermarket alarm. I've got one also but was cautioned against screwing with it as it may immobilize the engine permanently.

Thanks for the info. I will most likely remove it this week. Where in AZ are you? Yuma for me. I've seen like 2 modded GTI's here.
