Rear Headrests Storage

Wicked2

Passed Driver's Ed
I remove my rear headrests on a regular basis to tote things around and thought it would be nice to have a safe way to store them while they're not in the car.

I picked up a Safety First 36 in. Stinless-Steel grab bar and a cobalt drill bit from Home Depot and made this. It's nothing special but I find it handy and I can use it to hand dry my wash rags too.

good idea! amazing how much better you can see out the rear view with no headrests.

What's the secret to getting them to release to get them out?

A tiny flat head screw driver inserted into the plastic post hole. Look closely and you'll see the tiny slit in the post without the release button.

Thanks - a simple, stupid thing, but a BIG help.
