So the last few months, my friend and I have made a few changes to my car.
No torque wrench was used.
1) APR pendulum mount
The car feels great
2) Upper stock subframe mount, Lower HPA Red Subframe mount, Superpro
LCA and Tyrolsport subframe collar
There is vibration when startup engine and idle. It sounds like something is loose, like metal hitting metal. Look closer and find out the side engine
mount is broken.
3) 034 Side engine mounts
After the installation, the engine literally elevates. I guess the side engine
mounts are so broken that the engine drops vertically before. We did not retorque the bolts on the subframe.
Now the car still vibrates and makes noise when engine starts, idles in gear D, and less in gear N. The vibration is also stronger when the car is on a inclining slope. So what do you guys think? Can it be something loose on the subframe? Where shall I start first? Shall I go under the car and check the bolts?
