CEL went off on its own, still a problem?

Hey everyone,

I threw a CEL for turbo underboost p0299, and a few days later the light went off on its own, it feels like im still low on power but since this is a new car to me and I dont have a boost guage to check turbo pressure im not sure if it is all in my head or not, is it common for CEL's for this code to clear themselves out?

I mean it might clear its self but the best way would be to run logs with VCDS or get a boost gauge to monitor what boost you are making. Hard to make a decision because were not driving it and since its new to you it will be hard to tell if it has power loss or not.
