Wow, and they didn't even bring up non-defeatable ESP. My biggest beef with this and other similar reviews is that when they say it looks the same as the GTI they don't bring up the absence of the red accented front grill on the GTI or centered exhaust. Either way, I agree. The R32 differentiated itself much more.

Having traded my 2010 GTI autobahn dsg for the R I can say the R is a lot lore car
The car feels planted when driving at speed in the corners or rolling the highway (comfort)
The brakes are way better
The R doesn't lift the inside wheel on fast corner exits like the GTI
No torque steer like the gti (specially on corner exit. see above )
It rides quieter
Less of them on the road
Better resale
Feel like a million bucks when I drive it
I feel it's a def. a better car and worth the coin

I love that not everybody knows that hit them when I get off the line quick. Only certain people know that this is a limited edition car. The interior is amazing and even if there are not a whole lot differences of styling between the GTI and the R, it's enough to stand out just a bit. Cops never even look at you and you look so much more composed compared to the Jap "Racers" out there.
