Cleaning the sunroof water drain channels.

Hi Guys,

Did anyone clean the GTI's sunroof water drain channels? could you elaborate on how it's being done in our car?

I'm asking because a friend with a MKV GTI just had a lot of water leaking like crazy inside his car all over the driver's side!

Also, while at this - how frequent do we need to clean around the sunroof rails and lube it up?
