Gawt dang Taylor! I haven't been in the forums in a long while. Glad to finally see you now have a build thread and my oh my :wub:loving your build. Teach me your ways

Heheh, thanks Jeff! Yeah my signature was starting to get crazy so I had to create a build thread. You should stick around more on the forums!

Quite a bit has been done to the car since last time we spoke about it... it's turning out to be a really slick build! :D

Hahah I know man, I can tell! I purchased a motorcycle back in January, so that's been taking up most of my time. But I will always have some love for the dub. I need to get back onto building, which is why I'm glad they had that Neuspeed open house this weekend. Got my intercooler, discharge pipe and charge pipe

Nice! I'd love to get myself a Honda/BMW/KTM someday.

You'll love your intercooler! Keeping those temps down is super important. :)

I'm doing yet another thing. Small, but useful. Only thing that isn't pictured is the Blendmount that I have on order. Last I checked sometime ago they didn't have a mount for my Max 360, but now they do so that makes me a happy camper. [emoji106]

Initial impressions on these items? Any pics during install?
It definitely made the steering a little more heavier and cornering feels better (some of that may be from the front sway too). I haven't been able to drive it hard just yet to really get a feel for it because I'm crazy tired right now haha

I'll update my build thread when I'm up in the canyons again. But normal driving feels nearly the same, so this is one of those things that you gotta beat on to feel the impact. I'm anticipating it's going to help with cornering a ton, which is the reason why I did it.

Aphix (Paul) also runs them, so he may have some better input as I just got them. However from what I've heard, it's totally worth the money if you love whipping through corners. The ball joints also give more room for adjustments, so it's definitely a nice thing to have.

I thought I remember reading these were designed to reduce/eliminate wheel hop. You wont have this problem being all-wheel drive, but I've been eye-balling this upgrade for some time now. The weight savings is nice too!

Yup, you're right, they do help significantly with wheel hop. But yeah, mine doesn't hop due to the AWD.

They were designed for handling too, and that's what I'm concerned about. But yeah, I know a couple people who run them on GTIs and it help them too.

The weight savings is pretty sweet. I wish I would've felt the difference between the two, but I'm sure it's an obvious difference.

I have no photos of it right now btw. Next time it's up on a lift I'll definitely check it out though.

Very nice! [emoji1360] Can you let us know how the Motul gear oil compares to OEM? I'm might be changing mine out soon at my 50k

Hehe, thanks! I'm a Motul fanboy, so the only reason I went with it is simply because I like them. lol

I honestly don't feel a difference, however it was due for a change as I'm at 60k. So I threw Motul fluid in it just because I'm biased. And that they make some damn good oil.

Hey, gotta be honest. I don't give you guys shit :p
