Forge Blow Off Valve Kit for Golf R

Hi guys,
I ordered Forge Blow Off Valve Kit for my Golf R DSG and I'm wondering, does the BOV make sound every time I shift gears or just when I let off throttle?
and does it affect the performance?

It will make noises in random times, due to the electronic DV nature.

Also you have DSG, it won't make the sounds when you shift, only when you let off the throttle.

It's just another point of possible leak IMO.

I meant it will make blow off noises randomly, its not a defined WOSHH like what you hear from evos, ect..

Some people say the car felt worse and it could cause leaks...however i never got it installed on my car...it will either effect it negatively or not do anything.
