sorry to revive an old thread, but you cut the metal housing off that is welded on the intake?

does anyone else have this intake and what are your thoughts on it?

Just pulled the trigger on a short ram from Amazon for $140 new. Will update Thursday after install

I'll also try to shoot video inside/outside before and after with just the intake as the only mod on the car

guys i had this exactone and years later i find it is terrible. it got holes in the pipe. i am getting 3 misfires.. i am worried for my engine. I decided to buy a new one from someone else. Any advicxe?
