A 2007 civic...it looked better on the outside, but it was modded, the GTI is better everywhere else and looks a lot more mature.

I will be modifing the GTI very soon to get that power back.

My friend has the exact same car (even in black lol)..he has an intake, catback, injectors and BOV and i beat him really hard when all i had was tune+dp.

I have been convincing him to send his ECU to the US to get it tuned, but he won't listen...

600 whp 03 Infiniti G35 coupe.

It was a monster on straight-aways, it handled ok, wind-noise sucked. I only miss the power.

I came from my first car, a 93 camaro z28. It was a lot faster in a straight line but everything else doesn't compare. I plan on sticking around for a daily but will get a second car eventually, probably a c6 z06.

I have been an old school Audi guy for the most part (Audiworld 4000/Coupe GT poster until it went under, now on Quattroworld).

Timeline goes as follows...
1985 4000S - Given to me by my Aunt in 1999 (she purchased it brand new). Drove this thing daily for years until I sold it to a friend who needed a car in late 2007. Unfortunately he didnt take care of it and the car ended up in a junkyard soon after.
Picture is of the car at its very first Audi meet in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2002.

1984 4000S Limited Edition - Bought this gem from the local VW dealer (that I later got my Rabbit and GTI from). It was a 1 owner car and had around 92k original miles on it when I snagged it in early 2002. Sold it quickly for what I paid for it so I could purchase a quattro equipped Audi.

1986 4000CS quattro Commemorative Edition - This was by far my most favorite Audi that I ever owned. Purchased in August of 2004 by a friend in the Indiana Audi Chapter that I knew well. Car was bone stock when I got it so I had a nice base to build from. I'll bare people the boring details, but the car went through many transofrmations throughout my ownership. Interior swaps (red leather stock, switched out to quattro script, then back to original minty red leather seats), stock 5cyl NA engine removed and a 5000 turbo motor installed (chipped ecu, stiffer wastegate spring, etc). A few Urq parts were used as well to make the swap as close to an OEM example as possible (since a 4000tq was not a factory made car). Sold to a kid from NYC who drove out to purchase it in Feb of 2008. I miss it, but I'll build another.

2008 Rabbit S - This was my first VW and my entrance into a car newer than a 1986. I leased this a month before I sold my Audi. It had a 5cyl, so I still felt connected to the Audi scene The Rabbit was a huge life saver for me in many ways. I moved to NC after taking a position with my company there and took many trips back and forth to IN after moving there. I turned the car in early (Aug 2010) with roughly 25k on it. VW actually gave me $1,300 back due to the sale value at auction being above the residual! Pays to keep the car clean, literally. I do miss this car as it was a hoot to drive.

1984 4000S Limited Edition - This was the last Audi I owned, but I had known about it for many years prior to picking it up. I was the 3rd owner and the previous owners were Audi lovers. A buddy kept tabs on the car for me for about 3 years, and the owners were finally wanting to sell, but not to just anyone. After a few meets and conversations we agreed on a price. I had never owned a fwd 5spd Audi, so this was a treat. I rebuilt the factory shift linkage, did a complete timing belt service (tbelt, water pump, thermostat, hoses, radiator, coolant tank, accessory belts, you get the idea). Also tossed on brand new suspension components (Intrax springs, Bilstein sport shocks). The only thing that needed attention was the AC, which I never looked at. Car won some awards (Motorstadt was one) and made a nice trip to the Carlisle, PA show. Absolutely gorgeous car and paint, I really miss it.

2010 GTI - Purchased Aug 2010. :P

If your friend wants to get the most performance out of his Caliber, he definitely needs to send his PCM to Realtune to get the MS1K tune. I had alot of shit done to my CSRT4. If it could hook up, it would've been a high 11 to low 12 second car. He probably does NOT need the injectors, just for the pure fact the car runs ungodly rich from the factory.

2004 Isuzu rodeo(direct injection) > 2007 Nissan Pathfinder(actually miss that just not the gas mileage) > 2010 Nissan Rogue(liked the gas mileage and AWD but hated the CVT transmission)> 2011 GTI( toss up between that and the Nissan 370Z but GTI was just a better all-round choice)
