Is it recommended to do a full rebuild if youre putting in a new clutch and a LSD?
Anytime you open the transmission and can replace internals, you're only adding insurance. If the case will be open for an LSD install, it's a great time to replace the selector hub, synchros, seals, etc. This way, you have a brand new transmission other than the 1-6 gears themselves. This ensures perfectly smooth shifts and replacing worn components.
Also, make sure you're installing a new throw out bearing when you are adding a new clutch, peace of mind as well.
