thanks man, i've thought about turning on cluster staging... i really wanna see your LEDS when they're on though!

Laser Jammer install on Golf Gti Mark 6

Hi everyone,

Brand new to this forum, I have signed up because I am chasing some help on my Golf GTi Mark 6. I have just bought some laser jammers, the blinder m27 for it from the website www.radarsdirect.com.au and would like some help on where to start in regards to locating the 12v switch power supply, at least thats what they told me to find. I need to connect the CPU to this.

I have included a picture to show where I want to put the jammer heads which the guys who sold me say it is a good spot. I guess I need to run the wires through the firewall and if anyone has done this before any help would be deeply appreciated!

LEDs Were on in those pics! :) It is hard to take pics at night. But I did have the interior LEDs on. Maybe its better if you see them in person :)

Now I get it! You said tails! I thought you were talking about interior LEDs...

I dont have the tail lights yet, I ordered them, they were back ordered so I am waiting...

Just got my Escort 9500ci today! Screen built into the Mirror!

I am waiting for few more parts... Install next week!

can you put the rear view camera on your gti? i think that if you didn't order the car with the cam assistant you can't put the that? if you can please help me with these because i want it too..

You need to have RNS-510 to install the Camera.. Do you have it?

I just got the delivery of;

Rear View Camera
Auto Dimming Mirror ( Which I broke my windshield trying to install it)
Escort 9500ci Radar Detector & Laser Jammer

All will be installed at a shop after I get a new windshield... Hopefully at the end of next week...

After many $ and more $ I got the 9500ci installed today.

Today, as I got the 9500ci installed, I also got a VW OEM Badge Camera Installed.

I bought part numbers

5K0827469Q (Camera and controller)
5M1970161AC (Coaxial cable connecting camera with the RNS 510 Video I/O connector)

I also bought other parts that I taught I needed, but turned out I did not! So all you need is above 2 parts to complete the install.

Oh also! VAG COM!

I have tested it very quickly and it works great!
