I took the car in to my local Volkswagen dealership on 10/30/15 for a routine checkup and water pump recall, it was replaced with a revised water pump that won't fail prematurely like many other Volkswagen GTI's.
The Volkswagen technicians complimented that this was was in excellent condition, and would be willing to do an inspection on the car for the buyer prior to a sale.
Never tuned, No engine modifications
