I have a USP downpipe that needs a midpipe and a car that wants a downpipe. I have equal diameter T304 with equal gauge, I'm trying to decide if I should have them. Just weld the things together or if I should V Band it. I have this band clamp thay came with the USP but from the look of it the midpipe used to slip over the Downpipe and I don't have the original mid.
Should I try and find a V Band at Napa or something tomorrow or just have them weld the two pieces together?
I have a bung ready to be welded on and a reducer to fit my OEM Catback but I'm just unsure on what to do. Maybe get a new band clamp the one I have seems skinny as hell.
