Hi all, I would like to change the look of my steering wheel. Car is a mk6 Cabriolet 2.0 TDI GT (white, red leather very high spec) and is fitted with the standard multi function steering wheel.
One option would be to change to a MK6 GTI wheel, this would have to be a used item (UK price for new wheel is around £400 plus £700 for airbag)
The mf controls on the GTi wheel seem similar to mine, but I would like to know how straightforward the swap would be. I have found a few posts relating to fitting the Mk6 GTi wheel to earlier models, but not to another Mk6.
An alternative would be a retrim of the standard mf wheel, but I am not crazy about the shape of the airbag, prefer the round style of the GTi airbag.
