Revo vs APR

ARi1

Passed Driver's Ed
I am booking a stage 1 map this week and stuck between revo and Apr

Not knocking revo as they did a wicked job on my K1
But am thinking Apr is more advanced for the mk6 golf r and offering me a little more power then revo

Looking for suggestions and input for runners and non runners of either software
All advise appreciated

APR Stage I
search around on here for info, has been discussed approx 90 billion times.

Cliff notes:
APR: Notoriously reliable but with a tinge less power
REVO: Balls to the wall power, maybe less reliable but the jury is out on this.

Choose whichever is closer so if you have problems you can speak with/visit your local dealer.

You probably wouldn't notice a difference between the two. Especially since you'll probably never drive another tuned GTI besides yours. No matter what, you're gonna be happy with a tune. Both are good companies with beautiful shops. Get whatever is on sale and whatever is closest. That goes for Unitronic and GIAC as well.

I have had both maps on my Golf R.

I decided to go with REVO initial done to the fact they done a great job on my Mk6 GTI with 299bhp and 360 lb/ft.

Stage 2+ REVO on my R felt great due to the quickest car I have owned to date so had nothing to compare with. But since APR came out with their new update v3 map and all the great reviews I was hearing I decided to jump ship! Let's just say I have never looked back!

Results: ( both runs back to back on same dyno same day etc

Orange REVO pink and yellow APR
