South Florida
Has anyone else in South Florida picked up a 2010 yet? Also, are there ever any places where fellow GTI owners meet up down here? Anywhere between Port St. Lucie and Fort Lauderdale?

I don't know if I plan on changing much. I leased mine, so I am apprehensive about adding a chip or anything because I will lose it in like 2 or 3 years when I trade in. But who knows, maybe I will change my mind. Other than that, considering changing all the lights in the car to LED, either pure white or red.

Yeah. Mine is a lease also. I just really don't care at this point. This car has an amazing platform... I can't wait to see it even better! Besides, the two other cars I've had before this one I did all those things to it and it was well worth it! I managed to sell everything(rims/speakers) or put it in the other car (sub/head-unit). The key is keeping all the stock stuff for 3 years. So far I've managed... but with this one, I think I may buy it after the lease is up (we'll see how she ages).

I got the eurojet exhaust and USP downpipe, tinted half of my rear tail lights and debadged it. BTW let me know if anyone here wants there tail lights tinted or Vag-Com.
I ordered h&r Coilovers too that are coming in next week. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good shop or could help me install these. I installed everything on my previous car myself but i never worked on a german car before neither do i got the special tools for it. |

^^^Nice! What have you done with the vag-com on your 2010?! I wanted to purchase a euro switch but I've heard it requires that program for programming. I was gonna wait to talk to the USP guys when they release the APR STG I program about it. They are VW experts... I'm sure they will do your coilovers at a reasonable price. USPmotorsports in Coral Springs.

I tried to unlock the remote window feature but that didnt work out...i mainly got it cause i disconnected the airbag clip from the dash and i had to go to the stealership to get the code erased. I was going to need vag-com later on so i figured why not get it and pay it off at the same time and not need to worry about going to the dealer. So far i just managed to clear a code...so much for vag-com..

My friend with an audi has all his work done at usp and from what i have seen they do great work. I have had my car for two days and debadged it today. I am currently trying to sell my other car so that i can get money to do intake and the same exhaust setup you have. Did usp install your exhaust?

Yea i tint locally but not windows....i can but i dont like doing window tint. The taillight tint i use is vinyl so its removable with no harm done to w/e is under it and light passes through it perfectly fine. Had tinted my taillights and headlights on my old car and never ran into probs.

![]() The "VW" emblem is also covered in black vinyl which i will be re-doing but in a different color. It looks like one big black hole there. |

yea pretty much...only thing is i also got the USP test pipe. The exhaust fitted perfectly with the stock test pipe but with the USP i think it brought it out 1 inch which is resulting in a exhaust rattle towards the back where it bends down then goes to the tips. That could be the problem or its cause i forgot to put the "hanger" for the test pipe on even though that shouldnt matter much.
