LS1 is the 5.7L. And that had to be a slushbox model too; even the 5.7l Manual does better.

Edit: saw in the first post the OP said it's an autobox LS1.

nice kill... but those auto LS1s are slugs... the result might be completely opposite should you run a 05+ 6.0

Nice kill. The auto trans for the GTO's where horrible no where near as nice as our DSG trannys. I'm guessing his goat was stock also as it was very "quite" lol.

That's what I figured. I was looking at GTOs to replace my trailblazer before gas prices shot up, the manual 6.0s are supposed to go 0-60 in under 5 seconds, but I wouldn't doubt a slushbox being a lot slower.

a motor capable of 400+rwhp (and matching torque) with simple bolt-on's, a world class trans, and the drivetrain design needed to put that kind of power to the ground effectively...

it's a low 13 second car off the showroom floor, a K&N air filter, decent tires, and seat time = easy 12's
