It's obvious that some of "ricer critics" have never stepped foot in Mexico. You gotta see what they do with V-dubs in Cozumel, Mexico. I"ll snap some pics the next time I'm down there and resurrect this thread. Some of their "mods" would these ricer mods look tasteful.

What are you talking about. Those tips create more volume for exhaust gas to exit. Less restriction and so more power. HAHAHA

I do not see the point of the hood scoop in that mk5 ... it makes sense in subi because of the intakes location ... but on the mk5 gti ... its just OFF

The hood scoop on the Subi is actually for the intercooler, not the intake. The intercooler on those cars are top mounted.

the tr mkv has a big turbo, but i still dont think the hood scoop is necessary....owner is some older guy. At sowo, all you heard was a "wooosh" a loud jazz music lol

ok i actually have to almost applaud this guy because he went through all the trouble and $$$ just to make a funny ricer car.

imagine how much all that body work must have cost. and he did it for the lulz (hopefully)
