Hello everyone,
I may be selling my 2012 United Gray GTI Base model with DSG. I'll be asking the payoff of my current loan from VW, which is about $10,600.
The car is located in Boston, MA. Here is a picture of it.
I purchased the car in November of 2014 as CPO VW GTI from Commonwealth VW in Lawrance at about 28,000 miles on it.
The current odometer reading is about 93000 miles. I have a daily commute of about 90 miles. So, it is mostly highway.
Service and maintenance:
- Engine oil has been changed at VW dealer regularly every 8,000-10,000 miles.
- DSG fluid has been changed twice. First one was at VW at about 40,000 miles. Second one was done by myself at about 85,000.
- Spark plugs (NGK PFR7SEG) haven been replaced at every 40,000 miles by myself.
- Brake pads and rotors were replaced at about 65,000 miles.
- Water pump has been replaced twice at VW dealer under warranty.
- The intake manifold has been replaced once at VW dealer under warranty.
- The exhaust sleeve was replaced at about 82,000 miles due to rust.
- The radiator was replaced at about 82,000 due to the common radiator sensor communication failure problem.
Mods history:
- 35% tinted windows.
- Koni Oranges with VW DG lowering springs and TT strut mounts and TT rear spring pads. Springs and strut mounts were installed about two months ago with new hardware (bolt and nuts), whereas a new passenger side strut was also installed since the old one was blown. The stock struts and springs are available and will come with the car.
- H&R 24 mm adjustable rear sway bar. The stock rsb is available and will come with the car.
- Interior LED lights. PIAA plasma yellow fog lights.
- Euro headlight switch with yellow trigger wired.
- Monster GTI mats with cargo protector. Stock mats are available and will come with the car.
- 18x8 ET 45 Neuspeed RSe 12 light weight wheels with 235/40R18 Conti DSW 06 tires. Tires have about 16,000 miles on them.
- R8 Coils
Imperfection:
A minor body damage on the rear passenger side skirt, which was quoted to be a $500 cost repair from a local body shop. Have the quote receipt.
