Got my flash done this morning. Unfortunately I hadn't requested a dyno ahead of time, so no before and after. Just as well since I had the update bug with the server so they had to flash to stock, pull the ECU and bench flash it again.
Haven't had much chance to try it yet since I had to go to work right way, but a few initial thoughts:
o Low gears do feel much more linear and less prone to random jumps from tiny pedal motion. Feels much smoother already. Engine/intake sounds a little different too, not sure what that is.
o Downshift blips were much quicker and smoother.
o Over 4K is powerful. I did some 4th and 5th short runs on the highway and holy crap it goes. No more warning lights on the mechanical boost gauge when I get into it in 5th or 6th -- the 3 bar seems to give much better control over the boost which gives me some piece of mind.
o I got to floor it on an onramp in 3rd and there was no spin, just power. The torque management seemed to handle it well, since normally I lost traction when I WOT on an upwards onramp like that.
I'll play some more and post review in the other thread later.
