Looks well done, but I personally don't like dark tinted lights

I think it looks good cause i see everyone around town with nothing or just full blacked out so i wanted to do something different you know...

agreed i like the contrast def looks like a quality job i had mine tinted for a while but i think it looks much cleaner with them left as is... debadge it itll help clean up that rear 100%

Quick question, installing led tails, are they plug and play or do they require a vagcom?

Plenty of threads on it and different types and how to code them.
Search for them.

To cut it short. They are plug and play and depending on the type you need to code them. Byte 18 to 1F for no rear fog. To 15 with rear fog.
Depos don't need coding. Have resistor boxes included.

im not sure OP's are led tails i think he tinted the oem. but to answer ur question, R led tails need to be coded to avoid a bulb out light
