Just an F.Y.I, in the state of Georgia, you do NOT need an emissions test on 2012 or newer vehicles!!! I was running around stressing that I wouldn't pass. I found this out from a service tech at an emissions test center. I was next in line and he asked the year of my GTI. When I told him 2012 he explained I do NOT need one, and won't for another 2 years. Any vehicle with a model year of 2012 and newer will not need an emissions test. For example I will need one in 2015. The scale is 3 years from current year. Just pass the word!!!!!
