Can anyone tell me if replacing the thermostat is difficult? Just looking at the diagrams, and at my engine, it seems its buried beneath the intake manifold. And from what I'm reading, it say its integrated in the coolent pump housing.
I'm having that engine temperature fluctuation problem from cold start, and was thinkng about replacing the thermostat if it was simple enough. I'm trying to cross off some things regarding a P0420 error code that keeps popping up when the engine temp is low. Don't really feel like wasting a day or more at the dealership only for them to tell me "could not duplicate". TIA.
