DSG (?) Started Making Noise

Today I started hearing some odd noises.
1- last night bad feeling almost like the clutch is grinding/slipping in a manual transmission (not sure if DSG related or my engine issue).
2- had a noise almost like a muffled barking noise. It happened earlier today 2x around 25-30 mph with low throttle load in D. Also heard a weird squeak come from under the hood (taking car in for engine issue soon).

While parked the car is also making a clicking noise under the gear lever when I press the brake in and out. Here is a videohttps://vimeo.com/144447817
Is this normal? Don't recall this sound before. Thanks for any and all advice.

that happens to me all the time. pressing and loosing the brake, the noise appears with that green signal light.

Also hearing a scraping-like noise while accelerating at low speeds.

Late, but that's very likely the gear shift interlock. Essentially, manufacturers are obligated to make sure you can't shift out of park without applying the brake, so there's an electromechanical lock on the shifter that disengages and engages when you press and release the brake pedal.

Nothing to worry about!

I just noticed this same exact thing. But I already have 50k miles and I just noticed it now??? So does your car still make the noise? Or is it correct from below that it's the gear shift interlock? I'm just wondering why it's making noise now when I didn't notice it before.
