I'm at just under 81K miles and I'm still running my original OEM battery (car was built Nov 2009).

Mine didn't even make it to 30k. I had to replace it in September 2015 on a car purchased in October 2013 because I started getting random dash lights due to low voltage. Granted, I haven't had good luck with lead-acid batteries in turbocharged cars with the heat and humidity here in Louisiana.

Actually $150.00 is not such a bad price especially from a dealer. Battery life depends on climate and usage and batteries generally last on average 4 years
I just replaced the battery on my wifes jetta for $130.00, it lasted exactly 4 years

No Kessy here. Hopefully the replacement will be better. One shitty side effect is the low voltage killed my Passport 8500x50.

Battery died in 2 years, 30k miles. Anyone else?

My battery died right around the same time....went to see a movie with gf and when we got out, turned the ignition and nothing just clicks....luckily the people right next to us were leaving at the same time and were kind enough to let me jump
