Yeah like it a lot and works well. No mods required, opted for the drain valve and attached a hose to that so the hose pokes through a gap in the splash shield, so emptying is a cinch.

Just got the ECS catch can in, I must say, the parts are really really nice quality.

speakin of the ECS catch can, i read the installation instructions and this is what they say for winter:

When the temperature reaches freezing and below, we recommend disconnecting the feed and return lines and installing the original PCV
hose between the intake pipe and PCV valve assembly.

does this mean that the front can always remain blocked off? if so, that's relatively painless maintenance for winter....

Every catch can runs the risk of freezing but with their can's design, I don't see freezing temps causing an issue until the can is full.
