1.6 Tdi remap (105 model)

Booked my 2012 1.6TDI in for a remap this Saturday.

Standard: 103bhp, 250nm torque
Expectation after map: 146bhp, 313nm torque

Excited to have a bit more power and also should see a slight increase in MPG.

Will post my thoughts once I've driven the car after the map.

Got it done and very pleased! Feel a big difference in power. Pulls much better and I've noticed better MPG aswell!

Highly recommend it for anyone that wants a bit more power out of there 1.6

Thanks Tom - bit of a way from Manchester! I'm tempted but I guess slightly concerned about long term impact on clutch/gearbox etc.. (Mines now racking up to 90k) but the extra oomph sounds good!

If you drive sensibly then there shouldn't be any more impact on anything. Obviously you're going to put the foot down sometimes but shouldn't take too much toll on the car
