Engine squealing during acceleration (video)

I've tried searching for a solution for this, but I have not managed to find a solution for this issue yet. If this post is posted in wrong place, or a duplicate issue - please feel free to move it.

About a month ago I started noticing a slight squealing noise coming from the engine while I was accelerating from low rpm (2k+) and from red lights. I cannot replicate the noise while parked or while the engine is cold. I initially thought it was the PCV going bad, so being that the car has 60k miles on it I thought it would be good preventive work to replace it non the less. It did nothing for the noise. I updated the DV to rev D since the DV had been ordered a while back but never got around to installing. Didnt do anything either.

In my experience it doesnt seem to be a belt as I found them to be squaling whether the car is cold or warmed up.

This morning as I went to start the car it started misfiring and stuttering, almost sounding like it's gasping for air until it had cycled the cold start cycle. Once cycled it idled down and ran smooth again. No CEL or codes showing on my AP.

Any input as to whether my intake manifold is going bad or if this is due to a leaking PCV hose somewhere? Or anything else that you would think to check?

I included a video, you can just hear the squealing but with the windows down its quite noticeable.

Thanks!

I watched the video and the only noise i hear is your intake whistling during acceleration. My car does the same thing, its considered normal according to who you ask.

The cold start misfire could be due to you needing a carbon cleaning.

Thanks,

I realized that I uploaded the wrong part of the clip, this should be the correct one https://youtu.be/_8APsq1UTGA At the beginning of the clip as I'm going through the intersection you can hear a slight squeal. It is a completely new noise and with the windows down it's quite loud. My phone doesnt pick it up that well unfortunately.

Scheduled a carbon cleaning for this afternoon and will have them look at the engine noises as well.

I listened to the video 5 times, i can't hear anything odd.

Thanks everyone,
Took it to a shop tonight and had the guy there drive it and we only got about 10 hrs before it started squeaking. He was a bit thrown off it seemed like, and thought that it could possibly be the turbo about to go out. Just don't see it happening at 60k already but I guess anything is possible. They'll be doing some testing tomorrow to see what they can find.

I was able to capture the noise with a microphone inside the engine bay this morning. I understand that the turbo noise is common, but this high pitch turbo noise only shows up once the car is warmed up. I hate to sound like a noob but I just doesn’t sound normal to me.

Sounds normal to me, all i hear is your intake squealing.

Turns out one of the exhaust manifold studs is cracked and requires drilling out

Hmm I might have the same issue. Can you take a listen to this clip here and let me know if it sounds similar? The squeal gets quickly replaced by the usual turbo spool/intake sounds so you have to listen with headphones on.

0:15 - 0:18 mark you should be able to hear it fairly well. Sounds as if a belt was slipping:

Just to update this thread:

Like others, I had a broken exhaust manifold stud. It hadn't fallen off yet but was loosely hanging on still. Exhaust manifold gasket doesn't look too bad. Purchased a turbo refresh kit from ShopDAP (incl. exhaust manifold gasket, studs, nuts, etc) and had the various parts installed. Also took the time to go back to Stage 1 so no need to fuss with downpipe worries any longer.
