Looking to sell my OEM Detroit wheels with original Pirelli tires. I removed these from my 2011 GTI last spring. They have been stacked (in bags) down in the basement since.
Wheels are in good shape. Straight and true. They have some minor clear coat wear, but nothing a little polishing compound couldn't restore in a few minutes. No curb rash but there are two small nicks that were inflicted by a piece of road debris.
Tires had roughly 45k miles when removed. Fine for warm weather traction but probably suboptimal for winter driving at this point.
New center caps also included.
Looking for $500 OBO.
These would be great winter wheels. They aren't the lightest things, but they are built like tanks. Great against NE roads.

WTT Borla for your stock exhaust
WTT my Borla catback, p/n 140347 for stock exhaust. Trading my car. Bought it new with the exhaust already installed. My car has 13K miles and isn't driven in snow. (Originally a CA car and garaged during winter). Exhaust has no dents and tips look new.
I have the means to install the Borla on your car if you come to me, otherwise willing to come to you for pickup/dropoff.
$300 obo plus your exhaust. Located in Tewksbury. I also have a Neuspeed P -Flo air intake, P/N 65.10.92 (with air pump). $150 obo

For sale is my 16" winter setup I've had for about 3 winters now - selling because I bought another set of wheels for the winter.
The steelies and tires were purchased from Tire Rack.
Wheels - 16" Steel Wheels - 5x112 bolt pattern, 57.1 CB. Not sure of other wheels specs but ran this on a GTI without any issues
Tires - General Altimax Arctic 205/55/16
Wheels have no bends or cracks. Tires have no dry rot and have 7/32nds of tread for 3 wheels and about 8/32nds of tread for one wheel. There is some pronounced tire noise at lower speeds from ~25-45 mph but goes away when you're on the highway. Tread appears to be even (no camber wear, etc).
DOT date for tires is 1712 (17th week of 2012).
Comes with wheels/tires only. It takes ball seat bolts and no hub rings are needed.
Asking price is $300 OBO picked up. I live in the Boston, MA area and work in Worcester, MA. I assume any form of shipping would kill this deal but might entertain it.

i've decided i want something a little more protective than a piece of plastic that is my skid plate...
from what i gather there are a few options out there... i'm open to any. ECS makes them and has on sale right now, but they will never get a dime from me again. I'd buy a used one from a member though, provided in good condition and with needed hardware.
Other brands i have seen out there: DieselGeek, Evolution Imports, and Rennline.
If you know you'll be selling or want to trade for my plastic one because you're going back to stock (with some cash involved from my end obviously....) then let me know.
