Dogbone insert install problem

I recently bought a spulen dogbone insert and while attempting to install it today the factory bolt wouldnt come out, it would turn but it wouldn't move and on the other side I could feel what felt like the top of the bushing moving when I try to turn it so the bolt wouldn't come out. I attempted to fix it by pushing the insert in to block the top of it so it wouldn't move but when turning the bolt it continued to turn the top and it just pushed the insert out. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the upper mount broke loose. I'm assuming your going to need to drop the subframe and have new mounts pressed in, unless there's another way to get get them out.

Yeah either top mount broke or the threads. Either way, going to need new pucks. 034, oem, or vwr. Pick your poison. And you have to press them in or maybe freeze and soft mallet. Speaking from experience
