Need help, trying to wire in my rear fog. Can't get the wires to release out of the harness. Tried to use 2 sewing needles but can not get it to come out.

It's getting dark and really don't feel like putting it together again till I'm done.

Try using small mechanical flat screwdriver....the ones you use to fix eyeglasses.

Got it, found a larger/stronger safety pin and was able to use more force.

That is by far the worst part about installing the rear fog. I had issues with it on both of my VWs I have done it to.

Yea I had a hard time also. I used the backs of 2 needles and used erasers on the tips to protect my fingers
