Memory for passenger side mirror question

Let me first say I did search and found zilch.

On page 85 of the manual, there is a procedure that allows you to set a memory setting for the passenger side view mirror so that it lowers when you are in reverse. I have tried this a few times and don't even see the option that it refers to. Am I missing the location in the menu where I would "activate Lower mirror function"?

Any help would be appreciated.

yea, there is a function in the menu u need to enable, i forgot the name should be under the mirror title.

Also, u need to keep ur mirror adjustment dial at R or L, which ever u passenger side is. If you keep the dial at centre, the function will not be work.

O, you need to set your lowered position also, i think you do this by enabling the function 1st, put the car in reverse, turn the dial to the correct side and then adjust the mirror to whereever you want.

That is one feature I miss from my BMW.

It's tied in with the memory seat control circuitry, which means it's also likely prohibitively expensive to add to your car.
