A good friend of mine sent his '14 GTR off to Switzer at the beginning of September and he's expecting it to be completed by the end of this month. Supposed to make 1200 at the wheel on E85. Will report back w/pix/vid/thoughts when he gets it back.
That being said, the launch control launch even in stock form was hilariously epic...can't imagine what it's gonna be like now...let alone that AMS one making double what his will make.

Makes me want to give up car modding... I mean if you aren't making at least 1,000 horsepower what's the point?

Crazy thing is, I was watching a different video of the same event and the AMS guy said they were only making about 1,700 wheel hp, and that it was more than capable of making 2,000 on the turbo set up they're running.
Figuring drive train loss at a conservative 20% and that beast is making 600 hp/liter at the crank. Not too shabby considering top fuel dragsters make about 850 hp/liter. :lol:

That thing has faster acceleration at 170mph than anything on this board has from 30... :laugh:
