MDI Lost Features after Upgrade??

Hi --

Just took my 2012 MKVI in for its 10,000 mile maintenance... Looks like they re-flashed the MDI because I gained some features in the display (Fuel consumption, range, speed, etc)...

Only problem is I'm missing the options that I used to have to control my phone via bluetooth (missed calls, recent calls, signal strength display).

Did the new firmware just do away with all of that, or am I just being stupid and not hitting the right button?

Also, I bought it new in May 2012 if that's any help figuring out which firmware I had to begin with...

Those options have always been there. Read your manual and play with the buttons.

If you have a base model, you control it with the buttons on the right stalk. There are multiple threads on how to use them (and the manual does a good job at explaining it). I know a few people with the base model that also didn't know how to use it for quite a while. It is slower and more complicated than if you had the steering wheel controls.
