HEX-COM+CAN

Is there any difference between the HEX-COM+CAN & HEX-USB+CAN besides the computer connection? I assume it's the same program with same functionality.

No, no difference. Functionally the same with the correct drivers and adapter. Hex-Com+Can for $60 + adapter for $15 = Hex-USB+Can for $300.

Intrested. Can you give more info on this as I want to get a cable for my mk6 but to maybe use on others???? What's my best cheapest option

I'm not selling it, that's the deal I got. If you come across one that's cheap though, you should buy it. See the link below to the RS232 adapter I bought. It's actually $19.

Correct, but you NEED an FTDI converter. Made that mistake with another rs232 (serial) application. The ftdi is the only driver that can support 2-way serial USB communication conversion.
