Would like to know that too.. For some reason I have a feeling Ive read a number close to 400 lb.. I may be totally off though, so take my words for a grain of salt..
I'd be pumped if that is accurate. I had to replace the clutch in my 2010 GTI after about 15k miles with an APR stage I flash and intake. The replacement clutch sucked ass. I love my R and would prefer to keep the OEM clutch, but I also want to tune it up a bit. I'm APR stage I at the moment, but getting ready for a HPFP, intake and stage II flash. I don't want to replace the clutch on this one.
Same here. Ended up replacing my stock clutch in my GTI after only 20k miles having Stage 1 w/ intake installed. The Golf Rs clutch seems to be much stronger than the one on my GTI. So Im guessing that it will handle more torques.
