So I just did my 40k DSG service on my 2014 Drivers Edition GTI. I bought a kit to do the service. I did the gravity fill method with a funnel. Everything went fine and when I was done I used vagcom to check the fluid level at 40 degrees celcius.
My issue is when I got everything apart my trans filter looked different than every other filter I have seen. It has a plastic cage around it and the number on it is almost identical to the typical white filter that everyone is used to. The last letter on my filter was "D" whereas the most recent I can find on the forums is "C".
My replacement is a C is this ok? I checked the fitment of it to see if it was as snug as the D was and it seems to be the same.

Does anybody have any words of advice? The car is driving perfectly. Should I locate a D revision and swap out the brand new C I just put in?
