To tell you the truth I have never looked at the designation on the engine covers of the various VW/Audi models. I just know which ones have EA113 motors and which ones have EA888 motors. The Golf R and Audi A3 are the only exceptions to the general rule that is that TFSI = EA113 and FSI = EA888.
No those aren't the only exceptions and you have already given us a list that shows that you cannot easily identify which is an Ea888 and which is an Ea113. all the more reason it is important to understand that what the engine cover says is just a marketing label.
