I thought I read in your thread that the 3bar map had been ruled out as beneficial for tuning purposes? That may have been a post from DM though there was a few posts that IMO equated to a pissing test between the tuners though so that may have been caught up in that set of posts.

Not as important for tuners but for people running logs and trying to send them in....

John, have you seen the f23 dyno video I posted on the Uni file ? Came out to 306/338 iirc on 91 same dyno from autuning. There's a lot of power to be had with the mixed flow, and even more torque. This isn't a pissing contest, what I mean is with no tweaks, that kind of power imo is good as a base.

You're talking about the video in the very first post of this thread? If so, yes I watched it. Boost control looks pretty stable, all things considered. I'd like to see some data logs...

I think it was in the other f23 thread, it had a uni tune and was run on a dynapack, I'll grab the link real quick. I'm still on the drivermotorsport tune.

That video says it's K04.

It is better for comparing K04 to F23T numbers than the dyno that John posted (same dyno), but it's not a F23T on a K04 tune.

Oh damnit, you're right...I did a search and it pulled that up and thought it was just the file using the f23

I let my brother drive my car last night, he drove it at stage 2 APR, then again after the F23 install, and now again after the DSG flash. So the first time he opened it up last night "holy shit" let's off and opens it up again "holy hell man, this thing would smoke my vette!"

So we talked about the differences between the cars a bit, of course the C6 has a v8, magnaride, RWD, and some sticky 285/35s to put that power to the pavement. I don't think there is any debate here that the vette is the superior sports car, but to start having the discussion of what would have to go right for the corvette to out accelerate the GTI is a testament to the platform, the turbo, and the software!

I'm working with a dyno shop to get scheduled for 3 pulls on the ED base file with 93 octane. It will be on a dynocom 6000. No idea how these read compared to the more popular machines but this is really a tool to get a baseline and see what improvements if any I can get out of my setup.

If it's a base file, you can improve it imo.

Im interested in seeing the ED base file numbers as well... as thats the plan for me once the finances come in order.

Everyone someone writes ED all I can think of is viagra and then that stupid commercial for enzyte, where the dudes all happy cuz his wood is supposedly bigger
