you probably just have to cut the hose then reclamp it tightly when it was cut. heres bsh's instructions http://www.bshspeedshop.com/instructions/boost_tap.pdf and newsouths instructions http://www.bshspeedshop.com/instructions/nspinstall.pdf

The tap featured in Newsouths Instructions will ONLY work on the FSI. The port does not exist on the TSI.

The TSI requires an additional boost tap, like the one we supply, for proper installation. (You can choose to drill into your intake manifold...)

We recommend ours as it is compatible with both the OEM configuration and our catch can setups for the TSI. Most others are just one way.

yeah i didnt want to do that so i just used the newsouth boost tap which worked perfect.. i would have given yours a try but this one looked a little easier.
