Using window tint on emblems instead of paint

I had an idea this morning. My idea was would it be a good idea to use window tint on emblems instead of window tints. I was thinking of doing it to the back of my VW. I wouldn't do the front because of the rocks and stuff. I'd like your opinion please, thanks!

it will wear out quickly. Window tint lives on the inside...

I'd invest in a small patch of gloss/matte black vinyl to do anything exterior like that though just for durability sake

Vinyl will last longer than the tint ever would

Use plasti dip it will last longer look better and it's removable.

I had a talk with my window tint guy the other day and he told me that using vinyl would be better. He suggest for me to take of the emblem on the hatch and then they can do something. The thing is that I don't know how to take it off. I just don't want to start removing things and breaking stuff lol
