VWR Cold-Air Intake

Hi all,

Am have the VWR Cold-Air Intake System on my Golf R and am looking for the filter replacment.

Can anyone help where I can find it (only the filter).

Do you really need to replace the filter or can it be cleaned and re-oiled?

If you need to replace it, why not try contacting either APR or VWR themselves?

Isn't the VWR filter a foam filter that just needs to be washed and dried? Unless he's talking Carbonio then washed dried and reoiled.

It's a foam filter glued to the aluminum base of the output tube. It's an ITG foam filter so you need to re-oil it with a foam filter oil which isn't the same as K&N filter oil.

it cant be cleaned, and i have used it for less than 3 month. I think it happen because of the weather in my country.

You are misinformed. Yes it can be cleaned. Go to ITG website and get the cleaning fluid and oil to use afterwards. There are tons of thread that posted how todo this on vortex. I believer flieger from vortex did video.
